Night before last I did a huge pour of sewing stuff for the car. I used a clear resin and covered scissors, pincushions and other notions. I  put a rush on because I wanted to see Bonnie Blues art car talk at WIVLA (Women in the Visual and Literay Arts) and I wanted to put more stuff on my car and drive it to the meeting that Kay Cox invited me to. Of course the moment the resin dried, it began to rain for the first time this year in Houston. I got ready for the meeting that afternoon and the light rain turned the Clear Lake area into Gridlock. I drove for an hour and got about 3 miles from home before turning back.
